I always look forward to seeing and photographing these three!  It was extra fun this time because I think Louis, the oldest, is even starting to enjoy the photo shoots -- although he'd probably never admit it. :)  Helen is always a dream to photograph -- she is such a girl and still in that age range where it's fun to put on a dress to get your picture taken.  And Henri was a trooper -- he wasn't feeling well but lasted long enough for us to get some cute shots.  And we even got a great one of the 3 of them together!

The summer mini sessions are for 1-3 children (only) and last about 20 minutes.  Each session will include (a) one 5x10 custom storyboard (mounted + a mini easel for fun display) and (b) an online gallery with approximately 10 images with online ordering for two weeks.  All studio items will be available for purchase a la carte, including prints, canvases and cards.  Please email me if you're interested!

Check out this cute family.  I always have such a great time photographing them!  Little Jaxon is 18 months and a fast mover - which is always a challenging combination.  I won't lie, I left the shoot a little concerned, but when I started editing the session I was super excited.  I guess sometimes, even with digital, I don't quite know what I've got until I get them on the computer and start editing.  Plus, I have the highest of expectations for every shoot and tend to put a fair amount of pressure on myself. :)  Ok, back to this great family... Jaxon's mom (and grandma) are awesome jewelry designers.  I just love their designs!  They design under the name WaVu Designs - you should definitely check them out (and do a little shopping!).  And now, finally, I'm happy to share some photos from the session...

Another totally fun family!  I do love photographing kids individually, but when looking through my database of images I find myself most drawn to the shots with multiple people - those genuine moments between parents and kids, siblings, etc.  I had such a great time with this family.  The mom of these two cuties, Amy, designed my logo, business cards and gift certificates.  If you have any design needs check out her work here and here.  She also has a line of really cute card templates.  I was thrilled when Amy asked me to photograph her family -- here's a peek at our morning together...

I've been patiently waiting to share the images from this session -- I waited because I wanted them to benefit from the larger images on the new site.  This shoot took place earlier this year and I just never get tired of looking at them -- they make me feel so happy.  Always, my greatest hope for a session is to capture the emotion I see and feel during a session and freeze it in time to be remembered and re-experienced over and over again.  Even though you weren't there with us, I hope you can feel the love and joy this family clearly feels for each other.  And although I've said it before, it's worth repeating... images like these couldn't happen if this family wasn't so willing to be open and comfortable in front of the camera -- to be real -- for that I'm so grateful.  Ok, on to the images.  I have lots of favorites. :)
