I just started working on this session and wanted to share a quick couple that immediately caught my eye.  More to come, I'm sure... although I'm not sure I'm going to be able to top this first one! :)

Looking for new portraits for holiday cards or for prints to give as gifts this coming holiday season... a mini session may be a great option.

Location: Casket Arts Building (Studio), Northeast Minneapolis
Dates: Sunday, November 8th & Saturday, November 14th
Times: 9:00a - 12:00p
Cost: $100 (+tax)

Holiday mini sessions can include up to 4 people (same family) and last about 20 minutes.  Each session will include 25 customized (4x8 flat) holiday cards and an online gallery with approximately 10 images with ordering for two weeks.  All studio items will be available for purchase a la carte.

Sessions will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.  If you're interested please email me soon.  These will be the only studio sessions offered this fall/winter.

If you'd like more time in the studio, you can always schedule two mini sessions back-to-back.

Referrals: Do you know someone (new to Krysten Halek Photography) who might also be interested in new portraits for the holidays?  If they also schedule a mini session you each get an additional 20 holiday cards.

Below are samples of some of the card designs available this year...

Where to start... I just love this little family.  I first met Ethan before he was born and it's so fun to see what a cute, fun, smart little almost-3-year-old that he is today.  And his mom is such a kind, talented (she's an amazing designer in many mediums), and strong person.  We met down by Lake Harriet on a very busy Sunday morning (note to self: don't schedule shoots at Lake Harriet in the summer on Sunday mornings!).  But it all worked out fine.  Better than fine.  We hid away up by the train/trolley station -- although Ethan was a little upset that there were not actually trains that morning.  But after a slightly bumpy start he discovered rocks.  Specifically throwing rocks (ah, the things you're allowed to do at a photo shoot).  :) Christine & Ethan... I look forward to seeing you again soon!
