The weather has definitely not cooperated this year. Those beautiful fall days I look forward to were hard to find this year. So I'm thankful to my families who were flexible with their schedules and willing to brave the chilly weather. This was one of those chilly days, but I think we made the very best of it. And if cool weather is an excuse to bring out fun hats I'm all for it! :) This little guy is super cute. I'm kind of in love with his eyes (check out those eyebrows!).

I love this time of the year because I get to see so many great families. Sometimes I get to meet new families and sometimes I get to catch up with families I haven't seen for a year or so. I was so happy to catch up with this family. And it's even better when I get to meet new additions to the family! I also love when clients have location suggestions because it means I get to discover a new spot. This was a park in Woodbury that I'm excited to know about now. Speaking of locations... if you have any cool location ideas around the Twin Cities feel to share. I'm always looking for interesting spots! Ok, on to the photos...

Twins. Twins. I love twins! And I was so happy that we were able to get some shots of 2 1/2 year old Henry and Hannah together. We try each time and this time was our biggest success. Gosh they are cute. And look how they're holding hands in the second image. A cute little story... I had just arrived at the house and was sitting on the floor talking with their mom as I got my camera stuff out. Henry, who was watching, came and stood in front of me and with his sweet little voice said "take my picture". Not a bad start to the session. :) Thanks to their parents who keep inviting me back -- I feel very lucky that I've been able to see these two grow. Some of my favorites...

Oh, so cute! It's been fun seeing these two grow. Hannah looks just like her mommy!

What a fun, welcoming, kind family. They so easily welcomed me into their home and were up for anything. Sophie is at one of my favorite ages to photograph... totally enjoys being in front of the camera, completely comfortable, and just plain crack me up with their uninhibited cuteness. But the cuteness wasn't limited to just Sophie... check out her older brothers who were also so fun to hang out with. And thanks to their Dad for inviting me to photograph his awesome kids!
