A few weeks ago, on a very humid early morning, I got to meet a new family. A happy family. A connected family. A sweet family. A family who I feel fortunate to have spent a very humid early morning with just a few weeks ago. :)

I'm so blessed. Really blessed. I get to spend time with awesome little kids like (twins) Henry & Hannah. I get to know amazing families. And I get to witness and be a part of moments like these. These images fill my heart. Oh how I love spending time with this family. Now you get to spend a little time with them too. :)

I last saw Ella and Ana in April of last year. What a treat to be invited back to their home this summer! Highlights of the session: their mom is awesome and gets so excited for their photo sessions, we managed to get a few shots with the girls together - not an easy feat when you're around the age of two, the fun tree in their backyard, Ana's little curls - I totally love curly hair(!) and Ella's gentle, sweet presence. I had trouble not sharing the entire session...

Again you have captured the personalities of both girls, which makes the pictures even more amazing! This year you have managed to tug on a few heart strings as well I've been told from family members who have viewed the shots, GREAT WORK!!!

I was so excited to see Zoe again. She's so pretty. And such a pleasure to photograph. She was pretty much up for anything. I learned that Zoe is not a fan of bugs when I asked her if she would sit in a tree. She just kind of looked at me. But then went for it and totally committed to the shots! Oh, and it was amazingly humid (!) the morning we met up for our session. Thankfully nobody melted. Seriously.
I thought it was awesome they brought along her guitar (and hat!) -- I think it made for some fun images -- and definitely some of my favorites of the session. At the end of the session, as we were walking back to the cars, Zoe said to me "I actually had fun having my picture taken." Pretty much top of the list of my favorite things to hear from my little clients. :)
